Project Launch Manager

Main Activities
  • Ensure flawless production and perfect P1 launches in association to a P1/P0 Project development conducted in a Development Center
  • Ensure the achievement of Project objectives in terms of manufacturing: VPS principles, process standards, quality & cost
  • Ensure manufacturing/production quality objectives respect (process standards development, timing, capacity & logistic control…), contributing to product / process definition (leaded by Project Team), take Project QRQC responsibility on site starting OTOP preparation (after Off Tool OFTO achievement)
  • Run at rate and FDPR planning and realization within quality objectives for assembly and upstream components
  • Manage PPAP file delivery, acceptance and parts deliveries on time to customer. Follow all modifications requested
  • Follow-up non quality costs and quality improvement plans
  • Check and validate Project Launch Members activities and proposes scenario to achieve milestones
  • Ensure appraisal and development of associated project team members
  • Participate to all reviews: Design, Process & logistic, PFMEA, TSC, PMC , IVC & RU Ready starting from NPAV milestone
  • Play the interface role between the Project development team located in Development Center and the customer
  • Participate in improving work activities through Improvement Proposals (PI)

  • Knowledge of engineering design of automotive lighting components
  • Financial skills about Product cost structure, pay back
  • Knowledge of global lighting regulations
  • Product Development process knowledge and practice 
  • Personal skills to manage functional organization;
  • CATIA V5: Part Design, Assembly Design, Drafting Autonomous
  • Good management skills, efficient communication and analytical skills
  • Precise and concise written communication skills
  • Good computer skills ( Office)

  • Passion for the automotive industry.
fluency in English is mandatory, knowledge of Italian and/or German is a plus.
