Guided by the automotive industry, we have developed an integrated and interdisciplinary quality process, based on a process approach, which produces high added value and involves all areas of the business from a Total Quality Management perspective.

Environmental policy (ISO 14001:2015)

HSL manages its processes and activities according to criteria aimed at environmental protection, ensuring compliance with current laws. By implementing an Environmental Management System, compliant with the UNI EN ISO 14001: 2015 standard and consistent with the UNI EN ISO 9001: 2015 standard, it intends to guarantee the constant control of all the company’s activities aimed at continuity and growth on the market in compliance with ‘environment.

HSL PRINCIPLES

Environmental protection

HSL is committed to protecting the environment, identifying the environmental aspects on which its activities may have impacts and employs all necessary means to ensure compliance with applicable environmental legislation and to match any good reference practices. To achieve its objectives, HSL is committed to optimizing waste production; to improve the efficiency of the use of natural resources such as energy, water and paper; to preferentially use renewable energy sources; to responsibly manage the use of chemicals through best practices including handling, storage and disposal; to reduce, as far as possible, its contribution to pollution, for example atmospheric (air quality and greenhouse gases) and water (water quality).

Preventive approach and continuous improvement

HSL involves an audit and risk assessment activity, with the implementation of improvement plans where necessary. The maintenance plans as well as the periodic environmental checks carried out play an important role in safeguarding the environment and preventing pollution. HSL provides organizational and economic resources with the aim of continuously improving its environmental performance.

Involvement of people and shared responsibility

HSL considers the contribution of each individual person to be decisive and requires them to adopt all necessary
measures aimed at respecting the environment.

Communication and training

HSL promotes internal communication and dialogue with all interested parties, to understand and satisfy relevant needs and expectations to improve environmental performance. Through a training plan, HSL supports the development of the skills necessary to carry out work activities, correctly identifying and managing risks and seizing opportunities for improvement.

Product design and manufacturing

HSL is committed to developing and manufacturing products from a life cycle perspective.
